It is home to a group of dedicated young people who share a passion for “diamonds” and dream of using “diamonds” to conquer the world.

Like their ancestors before them, who crossed the sea from Tangshan to Taiwan in search of a better dream and future, they are willing to venture forth.

These young people combine advanced technology with the region’s natural resources—beautiful mountains, clear waters, sunlight, technology, and time—to nurture brilliant, dazzling diamonds. We call them “Alishan Diamonds.”

People have attempted to synthesize diamonds for hundreds of years. After countless studies and failures, they ultimately developed the technology to manufacture diamonds in a laboratory.

CVD Chemical Vapor Deposition

CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) is one of the key technologies currently used to grow diamonds in the laboratory. Through gases and a controlled environment, carbon gradually deposits on the seed crystal surface to grow a diamond.

How Do Lab-Grown Diamonds
Differ from Natural Diamonds?

Lab-grown and natural diamonds are highly similar in appearance, chemical composition, and physical and chemical properties. The primary difference lies in how they are formed.

Natural Diamonds Natural diamonds form deep within the Earth over long periods under natural conditions before being mined.
Lab-Grown Diamonds HPHT or CVD technologies are used to simulate the conditions required for diamond growth in a laboratory.
Same Core Composition Lab-grown diamonds are likewise made of carbon in a diamond crystal structure and possess the fundamental physical and chemical properties of diamonds.
Professional Identification Required Because lab-grown and natural diamonds have different origins, distinguishing between them usually requires professional identification equipment and reports.
